A free service for scientific peer review and publishing

your science, your call

Peerage of Science is quite familiar when you want to do things the way you are used to

Judge whether to process a manuscript referred to you, leverage your reviewer database to identify and ask peer reviewers, decide to reject, ask for revision, or offer to publish. All traditional tasks can be done with Peerage of Science – but the tasks become optional!

Peerage of Science is transformational when you want new ways to enhance your journal’s focus, impact and attractiveness

Project the talent of your Editors and Staff. Proactive discovery and tracking of promising manuscripts is easy and automated. Track peer review processes anonymously, and identify best content early by looking at the number and quality of voluntary Reviewers. Quantitative evaluation of both current and past performance of the Reviewers. Make a direct and private offer to Authors and acquire articles that otherwise might have been submitted to another journal.

Journals are free to determine the terms of their publishing offers, so offers may be conditional on further revision or even additional in-house peer review.

Using Peerage of Science gives new and enhanced opportunities and increases editorial control over the content and direction of your journal.

Journal eligibility

As a general rule, journals seeking to participate should be well-established in their respective fields. Exceptions are considered in fields already well represented in the service, and for journals from same publisher joining as part of a larger group which includes other, eligible journals.
