ProcPoS launches!

Peerage of Science
23 Jan 2014

Today, we are happy to launch our very own peer reviewed journal: Proceedings of Peerage of Science!

This development has been in the works since the beginning, but it took a while to make it reality. But here it is, and ProcPoS has some quite novel features distinguishing it from other peer-reviewed journals.

ProcPoS publishes commentaries on articles and events that deserve attention. Things that deserve praise, or further reflection, or deserve a thorough trashing, are highlighted by authors writing commentary articles in ProcPoS. It is an avenue for Peers who do peer reviews in Peerage of Science to get citable credit for work well done and build careers as science critics. But also, ProcPoS is a general post-publication peer review platform, done properly, through peer review and editorial responsibility.

You can find all about its Aims&Scope, who the editors of ProcPoS are, about the revolutionary publishing model(yes, it is open access, yes, we pay royalties to authors, and how to get published in ProcPoS on the journal's own pages: www.peerageofscience.org/proceedings.

You can also read more about the ProcPoS launch in an Analysis & Opinion -article published in Research Information today

And of course, don't forget to come back often to check out the recent articles in ProcPoS!
